Stay in the vintage 1912 cottage, and enjoy an old fashioned screened porch facing the beach-perfect for sunset viewing or morning coffee. The cottage is a duplex, and was built as a caretaker's residence. It's been carefully maintained, with hand finished hardwood floors and knotty pine walls. Each side is one bedroom, with beachy, family friendly vintage rattan mixed with pillow top sleeper-sofas and recliners. King size beds are standard, but twin beds are provided on request.
The Bamboo Apartments also offer three spacious, fully equipped, one bedroom apartments with views of the Gulf, and individual sun patios. The apartment units were designed for comfortable longer visits, and include oversized closets for seasonal guests. Each apartment is decorated with tropical rattan, and accented with different framed beach photos taken on the property in the 1930's and 1940's. A tropical courtyard provides protection from winter winds for year-round sunbathing.The expansive Gulf-front area, one of the last of its kind on the Island, provides four separate patios with tables, umbrellas, and grills, sheltered under ancient Austrailian pine trees, and a horseshoe court.
