It;s no wonder that this multi-use trail was designated a Seminole County Showcase Trail. Much of the trail corridor is heavily vegetated, providing a peaceful and picturesque experience for an urban trail, joining a long list of outstanding Florida walking, hiking and biking trails. The trail has also been designated as part of the Florida National Scenic Trail. Currently, the trail runs from Winter Springs to Oviedo. It will eventually connect with the Seminole-Wekiva Trail, creating a 30-mile continuous trail through Altamonte Springs, Longwood, Lake Mary, Winter Springs, and Oviedo, and providing connections to the Cady Way Trail and the Orange County Trails System.
