Panhandle Pioneer Settlement Museum

Add to plan Remove from plan

The Panhandle Pioneer Settlement is a living history museum located in the heart of Florida's great northwest, in Calhoun County. Convenient to pristine sandy white beaches, state parks, the Florida National Scenic Trail, the Apalachicola River and Chipola River and just an hour's drive to the State Capitol in Tallahassee. Our mission is to acquire, preserve and reasotre buildings, artifacts and tools that were part of daily life for pioneers of the Florida panhandle region. Our collections and exhibits are used to educate and share these experiences today, tomorrow and for future generations. Come experience what life was like for pioneers!

We host several events throughout the year including Folk Life Days, Annual Peanut Boil, Cane Syrup Making, Pioneer Day and many more. Join us for a walk through history!
