Park Place in Cedar Key

Add to plan Remove from plan

If you look carefully at the central Gulf coast of Florida, you will find a small group of islands known as "Cedar Keys." The islands are linked to the mainland, and each other, by a series of bridges. They boast a town of approximately 800 permanent residents, scenic vistas, abundant bird life, great kayaking and tasty seafood.

The commercial area of the town centers around Dock Street and the City Marina depicted in the banner for this page. The "main street" of Cedar Key is historic Second Street. Park Place is located on Second Street and the heart of Cedar Key is all within walking distance.

Here you will find gift shops, artist galleries and restaurants. Cedar Key seafood specialties are oysters, clams, grouper and mullet. On the weekends, there is usually live music in some of the bars/restaurants on Dock Street.

Life does not move quickly in Cedar Key!

But if you want slow down and enjoy life, you may find there is plenty to do.

Conveniently located on historic Second Street in the heart of Cedar Key, Park Place overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. The City Park and Beach are just across the street. All the condominium units are individually owned and decorated differently. Each unit has a kitchenette and a private balcony facing the Gulf of Mexico. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

We are AAA approved so you can rest assured that the units are comfortable, clean, and well cared for.  Park Place is also a Florida state certified green lodging.
