Water is the focus of this 431.4-acre park, which includes a lake where the private concessionaire Ski Rixen USA offers cable water-skiing; a marina with a variety of boats for rental; and the Splash Adventure water park. Fishing is permitted on the shores of the park's several lakes, except in the water-skiing areas. The park's campground includes 27 sites, two with tepees, the remainder offering a Rent-a-Tent package, which provides a 10-foot-by-10-foot canvas platform tent, already set up, that sleeps up to six people; a picnic table; a grill; a fire ring, and running water and electricity. The tepee sites feature the same amenities. The campground also includes a volleyball court, two horseshoe pits, and tetherball, all free of charge for registered campers. Firewood and ice are available for sale. No RV sites are available at this location. The park also features mountain bike trails, a skate park, a large playground, and biking/jogging paths. Rental facilities include five medium picnic shelters (capacity 41-60) and two small shelters (20-40), all with tables, grills, and water. A corporate shelter (capacity 400) includes two large grills, tables, electricity, restrooms, two volleyball courts, a horseshoe pit, and a small playground. Quiet Waters has a gate entrance fee of $1.50 per person (children 5 and under free) in effect on weekends and holidays. The park is accessible via Broward County Transit Routes #14 and #48.
