During your stay, you will learn that all five of the bathhouses are clean and modern, that the three pools are heated, that you can hike on over 7 miles of shaded trails of the Sanlan Recreation Area, that you can walk (or ride) to the "Certified Beginner Friendly" Sanlan Golf Course.
After you take an early morning hike to the Sanlan Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary near Banana Lake and observe the water birds and alligators in the tree-lined waterways leading to Banana Lake, you will say to yourself: "This is better than most of the State Parks".
