With peace as its mission, Sholom Park was designed to thrive in the Central Florida climate, requiring little or no watering above that which is provided by nature. Generous portions of native plants are combined with cultivated ornamentals, perennials, and annuals, creating a beautiful, harmonious landscape
Paved walkways meander throughout the park, winding through mature oaks, hickories, sweet gums, and long leaf pine trees, moving visitors from one special trail or feature to the next. These trails lead guests to explore the park. There are numerous benches upon which visiting guests may rest and reflect.
A labyrinth with reflecting points provide a more profound understanding of the purpose of Sholom Park. The 3/4 acre pond is a popular attraction. Visitors enjoy feeding the Koi fish that literally jump out of the water to feed.
