Carrying on the family tradition, Loren Smith, owner, and son of the original Shrimp Boat Restaurant founder - Lowe Smith - in the 1950s, has raised the bar in fine dining on the Gulf Coast. Architecturally modeled after a 19th-Century Cuban Cigar Factory, the new establishment—3 stories high and over 24,000 square feet—features an expo kitchen, sushi bar, banquet facilities, and a 55-foot long bar overlooking Smith's Yacht Basin.
