St. Augustine, FL is home to many art galleries and artists, ranging from amateurs and students to internationally acclaimed professionals. Founded in 1924, the St. Augustine Art Association has a large active membership and ever-expanding exhibitions, programs and partnerships. The Art Association holds an extensive Permanent Collection of important St. Augustine art, and is recognized as the epicenter of St. Augustine's local visual art community.
