The Stetson Mansion is on Trip Advisors list of "Top 10 Things To Do in Florida." It is the largest, grandest and most historic home ever built in Florida before the 20th century. Built for famed hat maker Stetson in 1886, it is one of the first homes in the world designed and built with Edison electricity. Dozens of intricate parquet floor patterns and window designs are just part of the lively tour experience. Visitors are treated like guests in this private home. Other guests have been Pres. Cleveland, the King of England, Tiffany and Edison.T he home has been renovated and restored with every modern convenience. While it remains a private residence, all access tours allow visitors to see every room.
