The Tampa Bay History Center – a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate – includes three floors of permanent and temporary exhibition space focusing on 12,000 years of Florida history.

Set sail with explorers and pirates in the Treasure Seekers gallery, journey through the everglades with Florida Seminoles in "Coacoochee's Story" and roam the brick streets of Ybor City with immigrant cigar rollers in the "Cigar City" gallery. At the History Center, you'll explore all of Florida in just one stop.

Located on downtown Tampa's Riverwalk, the History Center is within walking distance of the Tampa Convention Center, hotels and the Streetcar line.
